The Face Behind My FODMAP Journey

Welcome to My FODMAP journey! I hope you’re ready!!

Sarah has dealt with a dodgy tummy for years, struggling with uncomfortable, embarrassing tummy aches/bloating and cramps. Finally diagnosed with IBS in 2012, she was only really able to ease the symptoms with medication and exercise.

That was until the "Low FODMAP Diet" was recommended by a new doctor. At the time, the low FODMAP diet wasn't very common and was only slowly making its way over from Australia. But at this point, Sarah was willing to give pretty much anything a try.

The low FODMAP diet can be confusing and there is a lot of conflicting information out there so after a year and a half of gathering information and studying the ins and outs of the low FODMAP diet, Sarah was ready to tackle it!

Her low FODMAP journey was a tricky one, full of struggles but it was worth a try and she hoped that it would all be worth it in the end so was able to keep at it and stay motivated.

Now, Sarah has pinpointed her trigger foods and is managing her diet accordingly to ensure a happy tummy!

She has a level 3 and 4 AfN Nutrition certificate and has completed the Monash University online training course The Low FODMAP Diet for Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

She has done all the leg work so you don’t have to! By going through the process, Sarah has been able to fully appreciate what the low FODMAP diet can do for you. It’s not for everyone but it can made a huge difference to your life and confidence so it's definitely worth a try!
